Winter Poem
This is my winter poem. I made it to stick on a big snowman in the gym hall.We used clip art to put the pictures on the big W.
My Birthday
On Friday it was my birthday and I had a great time.Two of my friends came – Luke and ellie.I got a new CD player.I had a mega chocolate cake and lots of sweets.There was lots of cake and sweets left.
Going To Callendar Park
On Sunday my grandpa came to visit us.We went to Callendar Park.We were going to go in Callendar House but it was closed on Sundays.So instead, we went a walk round the pond.After that we went back to the house and had dinner.
Bonfire Night
On bonfire night we lit 20 rockets and 20 volcanoes in our back garden.One of our rockets came off the stick in the packet so my dad had to sellotape it back on.All the rockets went over the river except that one which swerved towards the houses.Here is a photo of the biggest volcano.
Handwriting
I have got better at handwriting .Especially joins .I really enjoyed doing handwriting because it’s like a challenge .I know I still have to keep trying.
My Learning
I have got better at colouring in pictures since the start of primary five and I have already done a few.
I was really happy when I had finished the colouring picture because the picture looked real.
I will k
eep practising colouring in a few more times.
My Caravan Holiday
I went on holiday to Haggerston castle in England.When I was there I went on high ropes and balanced 30 feet up in the air.I also went on a pedal boat,a pedal bike and a horse.On the horse I got soaked.I went to Bamburgh castle and sat on a cannon.On the way back we stopped at Berwick and had lunch on the old city walls.
Swimming
On Saturday I went swimming to the Mariner centre.We went in the afternoon.it was very quiet.Bye for now.
