I am going to use this blog to tell you about my Learning Journey. I’ll add all my achievements from inside and outside school. I’ll also add some news about what’s happening in my life. Click on the ‘Categories’ section in my sidebar to find out more.
On the 24th of May me, my dad and my little brother went camping on an island in Loch Lomond called Inchcailloch. We had to take the boat to the island,it was a really small one.We took our new tent.After we had put the tent up and had dinner we went a walk round the island.We passed a ruined house and a graveyard.In the morning we went another walk to the top of a hill on the island.Then the boat came at 12 o’clock to take us back.Then we went up another hill called Duncryne . After that we went to a pub called The Beech Tree Inn.Me and my brother had some Coca-cola and my dad had a beer.
On the 1st of June me and my dad went up a mountain called Ben Vorlich at Loch Earn. I was really tired when we got to the top and we were nearly as high as the sky. It was sunny at the top but then started getting wet,cold and windy, so I had to put on my gloves and new rain jacket. It was easy on the way down because it was downhill and the gravity made you run down.At the bottom because it was Open Gardens day we went into a hillside garden.There was lots of really colourful plants and we found a plant with giant leaves on it.Ben Vorlich is the biggest mountain I have ever been up.
MONDAY:On the way to Craig Tara we stopped off at our uncle’s house.It was very fancy and it had millions of electric things.Then we checked in to Craig Tara holiday park.Our caravan was number 5 in Roary’s village.We had a look round the place and I had a shot on the Go Karts.Then we went back to the caravan and had dinner.Then we went to the amusements.
TUESDAY:In the morning we went swimming and I went down the white chute.There were three pools (bottom,middle and top).There were these tile slides,there were three and I went down them.Then we went to Culzean Castle.We went in the castle and did the Lego man hunt that they had.It was fun.
WEDNESDAY:In the morning me , my dad and my brother went to have some games of football at the sports zone.We also went on the bungee jump.In the afternoon we went into Ayr and had lunch at a pub.Our uncle came too.Then our uncle left and we walked across the beach.Then I had a shot of the archery at the holiday park.
THURSDAY :In the morning we went swimming again.In the afternoon we went to Heads of Ayr Animal Park next to Craig Tara and me and my wee brother had a race on the quad bikes.I had to rush back with my dad so I could go on the climbing wall – we got to do it on three different parts of the climbing wall and I reached the top every time.
SATURDAY : We went to see Falkirk V Hibs in the Scottish cup semi final at Hampden park.Falkirk were leading 3 nil after 30 minutes but after extra time we lost 4-3.Then I went to visit my gran and grandpa.
Hi world.On Saturday I climbed up a hill called Tomtain near Kilsyth with my family.The snow was 6 inches deep and I could see Grangemouth and the high flats in Callendar park,Falkirk.
On Sunday we had an Easter egg hunt in our back garden.There was lots and lots of chocolate eggs hidden behind bushes,up trees and between flowers.
Recently in class we have been trying out some kindness ideas (R.A.K for short). Our aim is to make a better kind world. We made statements on coloured paper and put it in an envelope with a name on it. We got to take the envelopes home. We also made paper snowflakes and wrote kind things on them. Then we secretly stuck them on the teacher’s doors and gave them a smile card. We have Ambassadors and I am the ambassador of goodwill. We made Business cards. They had our class twitter usernames and our blogs on them. We made letters for the P1’s and it said that we were going to make a book for them and read it to them. We did that and they really liked it.
Hi world.On Sundaymy grandpa came to visit.We had a game of football.It was me and my grandpa V my wee brother and my dad.The score was 12-7 to my wee brother and my dad.After that we had dinner and then my grandpa went home.
